Out-of-Pocket
You may be expected to or choose to pay out-of-pocket, depending on the service and/or your insurance benefits. Some services are not covered by insurance. Contact Harmony Therapy Services with questions regarding out-of-pocket expectations.
KAP is not covered by insurance.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
Beginning January 1st, 2022, the Center for Medicaid Services has issued a new policy under the “No Surprises Act,” requiring all healthcare providers to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” to those who are uninsured or pay out-of-pocket (those who do not submit claims to a health care plan). The intention of the "Good Faith Estimate" is to avoid unexpected healthcare costs. The policy is unclear in its applicability for mental health services. However, a "Good Faith Estimate" will be provided to you upon request if you plan to pay out-of-pocket or are uninsured.

The "Good Faith Estimate" will include expected costs of the services scheduled. Because the nature of therapy is often ongoing, the estimate will include likely services and associated costs that would be utilized over time.
